Why Choose Ron’s Moving
prompt, polite, and professional! what more can you ask for!
My first impression when they first got there was that these three gentlemen were very respectful and friendly. All three introduced themselves and shook my hand. They came in the home and I showed them all the rooms and what was supposed to be moved. They got to work immediately. Going over and beyond my expectations. They were in and out in an hour and a half. Then we got to my new apartment and they just told me to stand there and point to where I wanted everything to go. They set things exactly where I wanted them. Which made it so much easier for myself. I was really impressed with them and the company. I would highly recommend them.
I was in a bind and a time constraint to move a very heavy dresser into my home. I filled out a quote and request online at Ron's moving Website late in the afternoon. Stacy called me first thing the next morning and was able to set up some help for me that morning. Nick called to check in with me about details and arrived equipped with everything we needed to get the heavy dresser in the house and another extra heavy object to my basement. Nick offered to help with other chores as well and offered for me to reach out to them for any questions I had since I am very new to the area. I will definitely call Ron's moving again for any moving help I might need in the future. Call them! You will not be disappointed.
We needed a piano moved. It’s over 100 years old and never been moved. My coworker is selling his house and my 17-year-old who is teaching himself piano also wants to teach himself how to tune a piano. My son called Ron’s moving company and Nick gave him a very reasonable quote and were able to do the move the very next day. Stacey was super helpful and we were able to get some photos loaded of the item that we needed to move plus any stairs. The movers were wonderful and courteous and kind. I would definitely hire them again for future moving needs. For the first time in over 100 years, this piano has a new home and will be given a new life. Thank you for helping to make this happen! We really appreciate you guys!
Ron's Moving did a small job for us (not their first) and moved our large (and too heavy for us) bedroom furniture so our painter could paint the room. They were professional and did a great job for us. I'll ask for the same crew to come back when it's time to move it back in place.
The movers were very professional and fast at their jobs. We would highly recommend them to anyone. Very reasonable.
I really enjoyed the move ,Ray,Vick and Tony are very good at their job. Had a great time with them, they made the move very easy. I would move again with Ron's. Thank you very much!!!!!😄
Ron’s Moving took the stress out of my move, I was grateful for the kind, considerate and efficient moving team. A big thank you from me to the team!
Ron's is always professional, safe with my stuff, on time, and pretty darn fast and I have had them move a WIDE variety of things. Not just furniture! Thanks guys...again.
This is the third time I have used Ron's and I have always been happy. We used them yesterday to move our office and they did an wonderful job. They were polite, professional and really hustled. They took good care of our furniture.
Crew was on time, flexible, efficient and very friendly. Very happy with the communication and overall experience.
I have moved internationally, up and down the east coast, and now locally in Maine. After about ten moves, my husband and I have found the BEST moving operation that exists ANYWHERE! Ron's Moving beats all competitors--large or small.
The men are dedicated professionals who work harder, faster, and with more joy than seems possible. I liked calling them structural engineers for they each possessed a genius for moving large, heavy pieces of furniture into and up a narrow winding staircase in our much older home. They are unfailing polite and eager to please. It was delightful working with every one of them.
If I ever move again, my first call will be to Nick at Ron's. Thank you so very much for the care and consideration you gave me and my belongings during the move.

It was great the 3 guys moving my things were so helpful
We used Ron’s moving for an item bought at a local furniture store we could not get home without a truck. They were nice on the phone got us scheduled within a couple days. The two men that came to the house were friendly and fast. One even remembered delivering once in the past.
The crew from Ron's Moving worked incredibly hard, quickly, and efficiently. Before they started to load or unload, they strategized to save time. They were completely courteous, professional, experienced, and effective. They were also fun and upbeat, helping to alleviate our stress! The staff on the phone were also always friendly and helpful--tending to tasks immediately, but also taking time to provide explanations. We could always reach them on the phone and always spoke to a person. We absolutely recommend Ron's Moving wholeheartedly and thank them so much for their expert job and help.
I had a small job to move a bedroom set to the upstairs bedroom. I called in the morning and that afternoon they stopped by and professionally and quickly got my heavy oak furniture upstairs.
Well organized crew; they were able to come earlier than planned, which worked out well for me!
Showed up moved 3 -600lb boilers out of basement and 3-725lb boilers into basement. Showed up on time with all the right equipment and man power. Completed the tasks very quickly, communication leading up to the job was great. Extremely happy with my experience
I definitely would recommend Ron’s moving to anyone who is about to go through the overwhelming process of a move. Right from the start, the communication was clear and concise and worked with our time constraint. The three men who arrived were punctual and extremely efficient at getting the job done. Thank you, Ron’s moving for making the job of moving so much easier.
The crew at Ron’s were fantastic. Cody, Justin and Doug did an awesome job. Great team. Ron’s was so easy to deal with. Highly recommend.
They were very friendly and efficient! I had them pack the UHaul for my move to Canada. They secured everything so my stuff wouldn’t move around on the drive. Highly recommend!
The moving crew was outstanding. They were professional and fast. I will definitely hire Ron's moving again.
Ron's moving showed up on time to move my heavy appliances and did so very quickly and professionally. Very pleased with their performance!

Crew showed up right on time and did a great job!
Excellent from start to finish. Ron’s makes the crazy moving process as smooth as it can be. Everyone was so nice and professional
We used Ron' once before locally and they pack out truck for a move out of state. The guys were professional and extremely polite. there expertise in packing left some extra room in the truck, which I thought may be a little , to pack some extra things. It is sad that you only get to use people this good but once when you are moving out of state. You will never regret using Ron's Moving!

Ron's Moving is the BEST! We had a stressful and complicated move into and out of storage units with quite a few big and bulky items. Ron's came to the rescue and were always available when we needed them, and even on very short notice. From the very beginning and our initial phone call with Stacie, working with Ron's Moving was an easy process. We changed the schedule several times and Stacie was always understanding and accommodating. When she was out of work for a while, Nick R. (owner) took over the phones and was the calm in the storm. Nick was very pleasant and reassuring during the entire process. All the guys working on our disjointed move were great! Hard workers, polite, professional, courteous, conscientious etc. Not a single complaint, and we probably met at least 10 different guys. We were amazed how they moved some difficult items into tight spaces with relative ease and without any damage - these guys know what they're doing. We hope we never have to move again, but if we do, we know who we're calling. Great work guys, and many thanks for a job well done!
Great people moving us. They were professional, personable, efficient, and caring. They did great packing and unpacking. Ron's Moving went out of they way to accommodate our needs. You can't go wrong using them.
The crew at Ron’s Moving was fantastic! They took care with all of the items when loading and unloading. They worked quickly and efficiently.

Ron's Moving moved my elderly mother into a new apartment and they did a great job. The movers were professional and courteous and made the move very easy. I highly recommend them for local moves.
The moving crew was available on very short notice and cleared out/stored the contents of a medical clinic very quickly.
The gentleman that came out to load my stuff for experts and what they do. There was no slight time. Totally business oriented. Extremely well. Job done. Recommend these guys to everyone. These guys are outstanding.
Hard working, friendly and efficient workers.
Amazing professional service from start to finish. Setting up the moving date was quick and easy and they were able to accommodate multiple moving dates for us. The folks that helped with the move were professional and efficient and the whole experience was top notch from start to finish.
Excellent movers!! Professional, quick, very friendly. Would definitely use them again.
I gave it a 5 because I know one of my 7 items was super heavy. What I had was a 2 man job, almost everything. It took 2 men to carry down my steps items, so I was a little confused when a 3rd person showed up, when I was told 3 men would cost more and I said, no I only need 2 cause I have 7 items and almost every item takes 2 people so what will the third person do? Exactly, but it was okay. All 3 of them were very polite and fast and they took off my door to make space to deliver it to the room where I needed it in, but yeah, pricey, but I guess I physically wasn't able to do it myself so it is what it is, and yes, I will definitely use this company again.. 7 items almost 3 hrs and it was $834.
They were very courteous, very helpful, AND FAST!
Ron's arranged a last minute move for me and helped me plan and move getting the rest of my stuff from various places a few weeks later. Both the office and the crews were incredibly kind, helpful, and friendly when I was going through some pretty difficult things. I hope I never have to move again, but if I do, I'm calling these guys. 10/10 made me feel like I was a VIP
I had a very positive experience with Ron's Moving. We needed a hundred year old safe moved out of our cellar. It weighed over 1000 lbs. Their first try of 4 strong men didn't work, and they refigured until they could get it out with the help of a friend with a pickup truck who could tow it out. I was impressed that they didn't let me down and persevered until it worked. They did my moving in a reasonable amount of time and the price was reasonable. This is the third time we have used their services and would recommend them to others. Thank you, Ron's Moving!
From my initial quote with Stacey and multiple later obscure questions of mine- to the actually move with Doug, Cody and Skyler- I can’t give enough stars here. Those guys are MACHINES! Everything was easy and I was wound up before they even arrived. Very pro experience. - Christopher W
Went out of their way to move two days earlier. Crew was great, very accommodating.
Great experience!!!

Update! - We hired Ron's moving for a third time to move out of the storage units and the apartment into a house. It was a hot day and a big job. The team was amazing. They were professional, efficient, careful and had a great sense of humor. They made a big job look easy.
We hired Ron's Moving to help unload a moving truck into a storage unit. This was an out of state move and we had to plan many steps in advance. The entire process with Ron's Moving was easy and professional. Great communication from beginning to end. The crew was so efficient! We will use their services again.

Three months after our initial moved to the storage unit, We called Ron’s moving to move us back after our construction was done. We had three great guys good sense of humor worked efficiently and so helpful if you have a big mood coming, choose Ron’s moving.

Ron's Moving made our problems disappear! We had a very heavy combination wood/electric stove that no one would haul away for us. I had hacked away at some of the cast iron and taken off the doors so it would fit through our doors but imagine my surprise when they flipped it up on a dolly and carted it away in one minute. In hindsight, I am very glad that we had Ron's come. They brought a big truck with a powerful tailgate lift. The crew had some real expertise in how to move heavy items. If I had hired two men and a pickup they would have injured themselves and damaged the house. The business side is very professional - the office returns calls, sent me a link to upload a video of the work, explained the costs. The crew worked efficiently - first had me show them everything we wanted moved. We were having them haul away some old furniture in the living room and that got my wife to thinking about re-arranging what was left. Next thing you know, she (with all her 70 year old body) is trying to move this heavy couch. "I think the movers will have time to move that for us," I said. Lo and behold, what would have had both of us visiting the chiropractor, the crew did in five seconds. When they were finished, they had me walk through the house one last time to make sure there wasn't anything else to move. I can't say enough about the staff and the crew. Today I got my bill and it was actually quite a bit under what I had anticipated. I really encourage you to go with the pros.
Though it ended up being a bit more expensive than I thought it was going to be, I was really impressed with Ron's Moving Company. The crew (Ray, Skyler, Devon and Dominick) were tireless workers and easily carried heavy boxes and furniture up steep stairs to our 2nd and 3rd floors. An added bonus was that the 4 of them were really friendly, funny and nice. I highly recommend this company!

Had a very large armoire to move from upstairs to downstairs so we could prepare a room for mother in law to move in. The came quickly and did a very professional job. Thank you so much!
We've been in one house for 26 years, so we were not used to moving. We had transferred our kitchen, clothes, and other small stuff ourselves but still had 10 rooms of furniture plus lots of heavy totes and boxes for them to move, fragile things included. When two trucks and five workers arrived we expected a slow, tedious, process on a hot, hot day. Were we ever surprised! After a brief orientation to our big 2-story house, the men cheerfully went into fast mode. They consulted with us as it progressed but never stopped until two big box trucks were carefully packed and ready for the 40-mile drive. They emptied the house, basement, and yard (gas grill for instance) in just over three hours, which included disassembling the beds and other large items and wrapping it all in pads and blankets for travel. Before 4:30 the same day everything was correctly placed and reassembled where necessary in the new house. Still cheerful (and entertaining us throughout the day) they made sure we were satisfied. We've lived a long time and have seen work performed in every venue you can think of, but we've never in our lives seen anything done with such astonishing teamwork, care, and precision -- honestly! (Photos show hose we moved from, then house we moved into.) The cost came in at far less than the estimate, by the way. I wish I could tell you their names, but maybe the company can fill them in after I post this. Thank you each and every one for a great, great day.
We had a great experience with Ron's moving the guys that moved us Cody Michael and Ronnie were fabulous great personalities easy to work with you couldn't ask for better guys and I hope you tell them that they were top notch all the way
This company is as awesome as everyone has been telling us. The crew was careful with our belongings (and the two houses. They were respectful and accommodating. They worked hard and had the trucks loaded and unloaded in less time than I had imagined. Communication with the office and movers was excellent throughout the process. During the significant stress of our relocating, Ron's Moving made the challenge so much less of a difficulty.
Great efficient helping get things packed and getting junk out. Load up done in oppressive heat and humidity and extra help brought in to get done on time. Move in timely and did all expected and more. Great crew. Highly recommend Ron’s Moving.
Over the years Ron's has been our go-to-mover. They are pleasant to work with and always make the process easy.
Ron's always does a fantastic job, the crews my wife and I have worked with have all been efficient, positive, and made our moves go completely seamless. Can't recommend enough, as far as im confirmed theyre the best in the biz
The movers were on time, worked steadily to load and unload. They were careful with all items. The crew were polite and friendly. We were pleased.
Ron’s Moving is the white glove service of moving companies. So professional and excellent work ethic. They packed that truck like a game of Tetris and took such care to protect our furniture.
They were very quick to loaded and unloaded my items. Very professional.
Very positive experience all-around from dealing with Stacey in the office to the packers and movers. Everyone we dealt with was highly professional .
Ron's Moving was fantastic. We had them deliver a 900 pound hot tub that needed to be put onto a raised deck. They were friendly, professional and quite patient with getting the spa positioned precisely. They also were careful with the flowers that were planted around the deck. We highly recommend them.
Always on time and always get the job done perfectly !
I had Rons pick up a few furniture pieces for me to be delivered to my house. Easy scheduling, friendly and efficient movers. If you need professional movers for local or in Maine transport of items you’ve purchased on marketplace or other I’d highly recommend. Seamless and great communication
Great service! Needed a heavy chair moved quickly and they worked me in the very same day. Friendly movers. Recommend for any of your moving needs.
I had a great experience from the moment Stacey answered the phone to negotiating with Nick to having his staff do the move. Friendly, professional, I was treated like family.( in a good way!) Would highly recommend.
Great crew, friendly and helpful. Didn't waste time ,got right to the job. I highly recommend Ron's Moving. Great job guys.
We had the 3 Amigos…Ray, Mike & Dan. They were just great from start to finish. They were all so personable & had a good time doing their job, but not at the risk of wasting time. They worked right straight ahead and di anything we needed with no complaining. They handled our things with great care and I would wholeheartedly recommend Ron’s Moving for any job. Top Shelf all the way!
Three workers showed up on time. They made sure they understood what had to be done and brought questions or suggestions to me to make sure everything was packed safely. All were very personable, yet still professional. I would not hesitate to use Ron's Moving again if/when the need should arise.
Ron’s Moving is the best moving company around . The staff is professional, courteous, thoughtful and extremely efficient! Thank you Ron’s Moving !
We could not have been happier with the entire crew at Ron’s Moving. From the lovely lady who helped me with my booking to the entire crew of guys who packed our trailer in record time- they were efficient, polite, and packed so well nothing moved at all during our journey. We are so grateful we went with pros ! Thank you so much!
Ron's moving did an excellent job moving us from 3 large storage units into our new home. The workers were qualified and courteous. The project was staffed correctly. They made the move easy. I highly recommend Ron's.
My experience with Ron’s was great. I was nervous about moving my large appliances but the team was prompt, professional and prepared. They made it look easy and the job went very smoothly. I would absolutely use Ron’s again.
They were amazing! 4 gentlemen showed up and had everything done in 3 hours! We will need them again in 1 month and I have requested the same 4 gentlemen to finish the move!! Thank you Ron’s!
Ron’s Moving was great. They were easy to work with. Made the entire process effortless. Will definitely use them again!
Ray,Mike, and Dan worked very well together. All of them were considerate, knowledgeable and careful. It was a very pleasurable move.
Prompt, friendly and efficient.
Ron’s came to our rescue and helped us unload a 40 foot container at our business location. We had a few really big wood carvings including one that weighed in at approximately 700 lb. They worked efficiently and were good at figuring out how to get that huge carving out of the container and placed exactly where we wanted it. Helpful and professional and fast. I definitely will be calling them in the future.
Professional! Excellent customer service!
I had never moved before. The crew that came was kind, patient and friendly. They told me not to worry, that they have it. I had a three story house with two garages. They brought two trucks and packed it all up. Moved it to we’re it needed to go in one day. I would definitely use this company.
Ron’s has been a huge help in our massive renovation project, luging things in and out of a historic building. Easily handled vanity’s that were curbside delivery.
Ron’s Moving has friendly and professional staff. The gentlemen came thoroughly prepared to take care of our heavy furniture. Highly recommended!
Ive used Rons several times and the are careful, diligent and they care about being fair with rates, they don't send lazy movers to drag out time, they send motivated people whom care about working, completing and not taking advantage.
Efficient and professional movers with reasonable pricing
I needed a clawfoot tub moved for new flooring. The guys did a phenomenal job moving that cast iron tub out and later back into the bathroom. I will not hesitate to use them again.
A small desk moved out of a basement into a shipping crate was required. A few logistical obstacles that were expertly overcome. Their hire was worth every penny.
Excellent work on a VERY short notice at an EXTREMELY good price. Can't recommend them enough!
Presott, Skylar and Alby were great team of movers and I just can’t believe how Skylar can organize and store the boxes to fit in the truck and storage unit. Of course no one likes the prices but they were worth it considering how much stuff I had to get out. I do hope they get a good chunk of that.
Great experience. Victor and all the guys were awesome
The Winterport Historical Association hired Ron's Moving to move the museum artifacts from room to room while the ceilings were being repaired. As a committee we would like to say they worked quickly and efficiently, nothing was damaged, the work was done with care, and their communication was excellent. We were pleased with the outcome.
We love the service Ron’s Moving provides. Fast, efficient and friendly
The moving staff were prompt and professional! This is the second time we’ve used their services and will call them again when needed. I highly recommend this service.
I can't say enough good things about our experience. Victor snd his team showed up and quickly moved everything from one spot to another. They were friendly and very helpful. I would not have wanted anyone else to do the move.
I bought a new 250 pound thread mill t ty hat needed to be moved to the basement. The crew was on time, called giving me a 20 minute notice.
They did a great job, and it was well worth the price.
I’d recommend for anyone moving or just moving some heavy furniture.

Outstanding all around service!
Attention to detail and careful hands. Ron’s Moving for the win!!
Ron's Moving were great to work with, a great price, and guys who cared about my stuff. This was on the heels of a mover which was a terrible, costly experience. (I had to put my stuff in storage for a while.) The first guys moved my stuff from their storage to mine, in the process breaking 2 pieces of furniture and scratching other antique pieces. Dented file cabinets, crushed boxes and tubs (usually marked fragile.)) Ron's, however, did it right, did it on time, and made sure I was aware of the damages and other issues as they loaded. They loaded the truck better, too. And they were very careful to get direction as to where everything went. The four men doing the work were friendly, professional, and did a great job without wasting time. I wish I'd found about them earlier, as I might have saved thousands and had no broken stuff!
Ron's Moving Company did an absolutely amazing job moving our entire business in just two days! They were quick, efficient, and incredibly organized throughout the whole process. Every single member of the crew had a great attitude and was so helpful, which made what could have been a stressful experience feel smooth and manageable.
They even went above and beyond by bringing larger containers to help us safely move some smaller, odd shaped items. That extra level of thoughtfulness and problem solving really stood out.
I would highly recommend Ron's Moving Company to anyone looking for a reliable, hardworking, and professional team. We couldn’t be happier with our experience!
